i don't know about you, but i am pissed whenever i received forwarded e-mails that supposedly expose the practice of using haram ingredients or unhygienic preparations in producing certain foods/household products. the latest being the e-mail relating to sate kajang hj samuri.well, i believe the sender's initial intention was good, to inform/warn about this matter, however what makes me so damn angry with these kind of e-mails is that they are often based on hearsay, no prove whatsoever, usually it was only based on somebody's claim that they know it through their own experience. question is, how do you validate their experience? what is the prove? in court this sort of statement is unacceptable because it is not accompanied with solid evidence or witness. how can we be certain that this kind of e-mails are not intended to badmouth a competitor? apart from anger, this matter is also making me sad because from what i observe, we muslims also fell into this trap, have we forgotten that accusing without prove, memfitnah, is a great sin?

Fyi....those are the modern days spams. They come in lots of types. The normal one via friendster / email is donation, the one where you forward the email and the person will get a certain amount of subsidy for an operation. Ohh...these buggers are so smart nowadays. I just delete those. If there are any REAL donations give me a maybank account and i'll transfer the donation (thats me being realistic). Anyways just dropping by.. Happy Raya n please name ur son Huddin. ahaks!
