today i made my first online purchase....i bought a book, called surat-surat perempuan johor by faisal tehrani, from this website called ujana ilmu . the site is nicely designed, its features are user friendly enough,with a very novel idea, that's actually working i think, of promoting the site as the place to cater for both writers and literary fans (ujana by the way means taman in malay or garden in english).
feel so proud and accomplished today due to that purchase i made....retail therapy always works for me.....especially when it's online and i'm using my fiance's credit card..... hehehehe :P

i also made another discovery a few days back....stumbled upon this site called project guttenburg. it's a site where you can download thousands, yes thousands, of e-books for FREE!
mind you however that the books available are only those published before the copyright law came into practice,which is somewhere in 1920's.... so you won't find the latest harry potter release here la....anyway i think it's just great that i'm able to download all those good books which i've always wanted to buy but was hindered by my unwillingness to part with my hard-earned money,hehehehe....stingy, i know.....so far i've downloaded the original version of leo tolstoy's war and peace,all 1466 pages of it.....and 3 books by oscar wilde; the importance of being earnest, an ideal husband, and the picture of dorian gray. currently i'm reading pride and prejudice by jane austen, also downloaded from the same site......even kamasutra,yes THE kamasutra, is available for downloading,but i think that's the french version.....x tau la ada illustration ke, x try tengok lagi,ehemm.....
